SPEAKERS BUREAU
The E3 Alliance is searching for volunteers to be trained to be members of the E3 Alliance Speakers’ Bureau. The E3 Alliance Speakers’ Bureau connects professional, engaging speakers with schools, organizations, businesses, and other community groups who are interested in the education and success of students in the Central Texas region.
There is no specific time commitment. Volunteers attend training and then choose opportunities in which they have an interest. Opportunities exist daytimes, evenings, and weekends. Speakers can serve throughout the year on an on-call basis. So you decide how often, which groups, and what types of events you would like to help with!
After the first training session, interested volunteers can observe a program, then co-facilitate with a trained Speaker Bureau member until they feel comfortable on their own. Volunteers may be asked to sit on panel discussions, give a PowerPoint presentation or attend an informational fair in order to educate schools, congregations, businesses and community organizations.
